If you’re thinking about getting into the world of the hackintosh but aren’t sure if it’s for you, then you’ve come to the right place! In this series of videos, I walk you through the entire hackintosh process step-by-step. I start off discussing the main reasons that people build a hackintosh, as well as propose some questions that could be the deciding factor for you. Assuming that you go through with the process, I then discuss picking out hardware, as well as how an installation of OS X is performed. Simply put, this is the series to watch if you are a first-time “hackintosher”.

While the “Hackintosh From Start to Finish” series is all about getting your hackintosh up and running, this series is all about fixing bugs, learning about new developments, working out issues with OS updates, and more.  I try to keep all of these videos around 5 minutes, but this isn’t always possible. Some of these videos aren’t essential for everyone, but they offer good information, nonetheless. If you have any suggestions for the series, feel free to fill out a contact form!

Are you looking to see if a specific piece of hardware is compatible with the hackintosh? Check out the Hackintosh Hardware section to see how various types of hardware work with OS X! This is a brand new series, so there isn’t too much here right now. Over time, this will become sort of an “ongoing database” of hackintosh hardware! If you have a piece of hardware that you would like me to review, feel free to request it by dropping me a line.
